The Portcullis Threepence Coin Jewellery

The design on the Threepence is a “Royally crowned portcullis”. This was originally a badge of Henry VII, the first of the Tudor monarchs. The portcullis is associated with the Palace of Westminster, and Parliament. The coin was minted in 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966 and finally in 1967.
